All throughout his teenage years, Jake has always been very skinny. Not only does it affects his aesthetic, he finds it hard to focus on his daily activities because of the lack in energy. He was exposed to personal training in his early 20s and started seeing results and an improvement in his overall lifestyle with proper nutrition. He was so inspired that he quit his field of study and pursue the fitness industry, with the mindset to help as many people like himself to improve their quality of life.
Having been in the fitness industry for 13 years, Jake is a professionally certified personal trainer who has helped many of his clients to successfully transformed their lifestyle and meet their fitness objectives. Other than the one plan fit all approach, Jake believes that wellness is not just about exercising but he takes on a holistic approach to fitness such as nutrition, stress management, and other lifestyle factors. Jake is skilled in a wide range of training techniques, including strength training, cardio, Pilates, yoga, and more. He is also trained in injury prevention and rehabilitation and can work with clients who have specific health concerns or limitations.
Jake started off his career as a personal trainer at Gold’s gym in 2011 and subsequently co-founded Physique Studio in 2013. Jake is also certified by Harvard Medical School to design sustainable nutrition plans.
